Calling on all Dota Fans, join us for the first Sabay Battelnet Dota Tournament at IDG 2010! First round starts 22 of March

Dota Players at Darkmoon your time has come, Sabay will be hosting the first battelnet powered Dota competition in Cambodia. We are inviting all Sabay Shops who want to compete to register a team with us! Hurry team registration is limited to 32 teams only! Registration is closed, 32 teams have been choosen to compete.

Where / When

The preliminary rounds of the competition will be held at home ground; the teams will be competing from the home shop where the teams registered. The final 4 teams will compete at IDG World Expo 2010 at Diamond Island.

The preliminary round will start on 22 of March and the final will be held on 2nd of April.

The Team Position will be drawn at random on Friday 19 of March at 2:30 pm at the Enter Cyber Cafe, Team Capitains will draw a number that will represent the team and schedule place in the tournament.

• 1st Round elimination to 16 teams
• 2nd Round elimination to 8 teams
• 3rd Round elimination to 4 teams
• Final at IDG 2nd of April

Tournament Format

• 32 teams, each team with 5 members one member must act as Team Captain
• single round elimination
• winner of the match based on computer score or surrender of the opposing team

Sabay Staff will act as Tournament Officials at each shop/location to ensure a fair tournament

• winning shop will receive 3 month free Sabay + BNET connection
• 1st place team 4,000,000 Riel
  
• 2nd place  team 2,000,000 Riel
  
• 3 & 4 iPod shuffel (4GW/2GB) for each member _{(prize may change)}
  

Game Settings

• Warcraft III Fronzen Throne version 1.24d
• Dota version 6.66b
• Game Mode = Captains Mode (-cm)
• Open Observers (2 Sabay Turnament Officials)

Tournament Rules

• Players are not allowed to use Phone or external Chat software during the match
• Teams are not allowed to change member during the Tournament
• Players are not allowed to pause the game (if needed Sabay Officials can pause the game)
• Backdooring is allowed
• Sharing of items is allowed as long as the game permits, It is not allowed to suicide to pass Divine Rapier (Gold Sword)
• the use of hacks or crack software is forbidden
• Players can bring their own Mouse or Keyboard
• all team members must be present at the home ground and compete from the designated shop/location

Violation of the Rules will disqualify the team from the competition

• if team members are disconnected from the game during the first 15 minutes of the game due to technical errors, the match will be restarted
• if the same problems happens in the re-match the match will continue with the remaining players
• if player disconnected after 15 min the match will continue with the remaining players
